Awakening gives me the courage to exit, and thrive again
I actually conformed more than I thought.
For four years, I lived in a kind of wilderness: figuring out my TTC (trying-to-conceive) journey while leading a performing team, getting awards on stage. I climbed, I pushed, and I stayed steady through market changes - but the external demand kept compounding, season after season. And in hindsight, I can see it clearly: the demand wasn’t punishment. It was pressure for growth - the kind of heat that builds capacity and awakens endurance. I even began to appreciate the suffering, because I knew my “muscle” was being formed for what was next.
The burning wasn’t random. It was essential for clarity, strength, and depth. And I didn’t just endure it - I learned to obey through it. Over time, I felt armed with something deeper than strategy: the spirit to serve, to keep going, and to do my part even when I couldn’t control the outcome.
Then one quiet night, mental blocks found me. I couldn’t fully wrap my mind around what had happened, and I kept circling it - stuck on how to reconcile incidents that no longer made sense. It wasn’t only confusion; peace felt hard to reach.
So I prayed earnestly.
And God gave me a prophetic word: “Awakening.” After that, something in me shifted. There was a prolonged season of peace, and then sudden clarity. My spiritual ears and eyes felt like they opened, and I became more sensitive to everything around me: environment, conversations, patterns, and motives.
Awakening in leadership is this
My work stops being only about productivity, and becomes a place where people are influenced, healed, and strengthened - because the assignment has a heart. I started growing through unlearning. I became more vulnerable as a leader, more fearless in naming organizational behaviors, and more daring in communicating boundaries.
It also helped me:
- Get my “why” sharper. I lead from purpose, not just targets or recognition.
- See people first, not just problems. I can tell who needs clarity, coaching, protection, or encouragement.
- Notice misalignment faster. I become aware when I’m conforming, tolerating unfair dynamics, or acting from fear.
- Communicate my stand with both logic and emotion. Truth with compassion, boundaries with wisdom.
- Expand my assignment. I move from managing tasks to cultivating culture that lasts.
And now I see why the awakening mattered. It wasn’t only a personal shift - it was preparing me to steward what God has placed in me.
So I began to plan for @silentwealthpanther, with a clear intention: to guide and elevate the spirit of people. I want to share my insights and experience openly, not for applause, but so my seasons, and the assignment God gave me, won’t be wasted.
Because the same clarity that helped me lead through wilderness is meant to strengthen others through their own journeys. My visibility isn’t about hiding less; it’s about purposefully connecting more.
If you're ambitious and want a leader who also checks in on you, let's talk.
